Richard A. Reuss' Obituary
Richard A. Reuss, 82, of Bay Village, Ohio passed away March 13, 2024 with family by his side. He was born in Lakewood, Ohio on September 20, 1941 to the late Martin and Sarah (Homm) Reuss. Richard proudly served in the United States Army. After serving he became a realtor, retiring after 25 years. He will be remembered for being a family man and enjoying the outdoors. Richard and his family covered many miles in their RV. Camping at many state parks. When the family wasn’t traveling, he could be found in the stands cheering on his sons during sporting events or on the sidelines coaching. He was Cleveland’s number one sports fan!
He is survived by his loving wife Phyllis (Osborne) Reuss of 55 years; sons Richard Reuss, Douglas Reuss, and Jeffrey Reuss; grandchildren Riley, Sarah, and Emma. He is preceded by his brother Ronald Reuss.
Family and friends are welcome on Friday, March 22, 2024 from Noon-2:00 PM at the Sunset Chapel, 6265 North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at the chapel. Richard will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve at a later date.
