In kindergarten Rick liked biting into large red apples at lunchtime to make the biggest spray and used to tell Banana Jokes.
He was a very quiet and kind man. High School memories. So sorry for the family and their loss.
My friend from first grade at Dover Elementary School in Westlake, Ohio (class of 75). He would ride his bike 3 miles to my house to hang out and play during the summer months.We had fun smoking pot in the 70's at the metro parks while trying to avoid ranger Rick.Some of his favorite music was ZZ Top, Kraftwerk, Pink Floyd, Trower, Genesis and other 70"s classic rock.Rick was a different kind of guy, when he spoke it was in a choppy way (caveman like) all the time.He never adapted much to the changes in technology and preferred to live in the past but much to my surprise he finally got a cell phone.
Hanging out together back in the day, what a good memory.
