Robert S. Atlee's Obituary
Robert ‘Bob’ S. Atlee, 87, of Olmsted Twp., passed away peacefully on August 20, 2020. Born in Allentown, PA to the late Frank A. Atlee and Ida M. Webb on November 1, 1932. Bob is survived by his best friend and love of his life Judy Atlee; daughter Heather; stepchildren who were like his own Dawn (John) Sykes, Keith (fiancé Andrea) Stineman, and late Jack Stineman; grandchildren Ashley (Brendan), Kristy, Tyler (Lauren), Lauren (Aaron), and Johnathan ‘JT’; great-grandchildren Raelyn, Daisy, Kynlee, and Declan; special friends Bill and Danika Pordan; and many other loving friends and family.
Bob was very popular at Riverview Point Care Center and often made friends with other residents and his care team who became family to him during his life there. Bob also had many friends that he made in his Marblehead adventure when he stayed there with Judy and people he met along the way. It is very easy to say that Bob never met a stranger on his journey through life. He was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, proud father to an Air Force veteran, and all-around proud family man. Those that knew Bob also know that he was quite the troublemaker and despite it, he is still dearly loved and will be missed in the days to come... even if there is a commotion in Heaven.
A special thanks is extended to the care team at Riverview Point Care Center for all the hard work, patience, and love that was shown to Bob and his family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, 34 Washington St., Suite 310, Wellesley Hills, MA 02481
