Uncle Bob,Unfortunately due to distance, I was unable to really get to be around you as much as I wanted. Growing up, I basically considered you "Danny's taxi driver", for you would drive Danny all the way down every summer for us to hang out. Through the memories shared already on this tribute wall, I can easily see that Danny is just a younger version of you, especially in regards to being a creative sports fan. Although time spent together was rare to come by, I remember so many incredible memories shared with you and Danny. I remember you taking us to the Louisville Slugger Museum, I still have the bat from that trip! You always called me "dude", never Ryan, just "dude", and I just thought that was so cool. You had a thing about you that just made people feel special when you spoke to them. I remember you catching video footage of that bass in my pond eating another fish, what were the odds of that! I also remember you sending me a "quiz" in the mail a long time ago, and you made it look like the Cleveland Indians sent it to me, saying that if I got them all right, I would get tickets to the game and get to meet Jim Thome (my all-time favorite player.) I wish that we could have spent more time together through the years, but we will have plenty of time to catch up once the good Lord says its my time to go as well. I will try my best to carry on the legacy that you left down here in Alabama…..I have to, considering everyone in the Beaty bunch always refers to me as "Little Bobby" When I was growing up, they always said I looked just like you. Our cousin Dimple was once over at our house while Danny and I were swimming. She said "Little Bobby, come here a minute"….As Danny started walking her way, she quickly said "Not you, Ryan!" I always took pride in that, cause you pretty much looked like a Baywatch star in your 50s!I'm sure I will never be able to match your creative mind or welcoming demeanor, but I will always remember you as a great man who made me feel like I was the coolest "dude" on the planet. I will always be proud to call you my Uncle. Yesterday, today, and forever.Love you "dude",Dude TramelP.S.- If I ever make a hole-in-one in real life golf, it will be in remembrance of you. I'll never be able to match your career total on Golden Tee, but hopefully I can show signs of your expertise of the game golf from time to time out on the course.
