Robert (Bob) Crane's Obituary
Robert (Bob) Crane passed away October 21, 2022 at the age of 70 years old. Bob was raised in Lakewood, OH. He attended Waldorf College in Forest City, IA. Bob returned to Cleveland, OH where he spent the rest of his life.
Bob spent many years as a self-employed tax accountant and was beloved by his many clients. An avid reader, Bob was never too far from a book. He was also a blue ribbon winner for his cross-stitch.
A lifelong music-lover, Bob toured the country with the Waldorf Choir and directed his church choir. He unwittingly followed in his father's footprints by singing in barbershop choruses, directing the Tower City Chorus and as a member of the internationally ranked Men of Independence. One of his best memories was of performing at Carnegie Hall.
Bob is survived by his former wife, Anna Crane, and daughter Deborah Crane, both of Cleveland, OH. Bob is also survived by his sister, Mary Ann (Crane) Liebmann, of Holland Village, PA, her two sons, and their families.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road North Olmsted, Ohio 40770. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022, 12 Noon, at the Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
