Robert "Bob" Clyde Hahner's Obituary
Robert “Bob” Clyde Hahner, age 71, passed away on April 25, 2023. Bob was born on August 18, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Bob is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Somsri “Sam” Hahner; children, Brian (Lisa) Hahner and Shaun (Tabatha) Hahner; grandchildren, Emma, Jacob, Anthony, Elaina, and Elijah; great-grandchild, Damian; sister, Barbara Krasicki; nephews, David, Jason, Matthew, and Joshua; numerous other loved extended family and friends.
Bob is preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn (Sonny) Hahner; granddaughter, Savannah; brother-in-law, Michael Krasicki.
Bob is a proud veteran of the United States Airforce. He also is a member of American Legion Post 703. Bob was a dedicated employee of 32 years at LTV Steel. However, Bob’s biggest accomplishment was his family. They were his true pride and joy, especially his grandchildren. He was their biggest cheerleader at all their sporting events. In his spare time, Bob enjoyed following Cleveland sports, video games, and storytelling. He enjoyed a good meal and referred to himself as a “Foodie.” Bob touched many lives throughout his life, and he will be missed by many.
A visitation will be held Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. A Funeral Service will be held in Bob’s honor on Monday May 1, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Sunset Chapel. Interment to immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
