Bobby was the most responsible person I have encountered in my life. Whether his job at the paper, his role in the union, his organization of the North Coast Football League, or his delivery business, Bobby was always reliable despite the obstacles,,, rain or shine, snow or ice, closed roads, vehicle breakdowns, Bobby always came through. Bob was the mastermind of the NCFL. Many professional sports leagues could have benefitted from Bob's directorship, his newsletters, his stats, his humor, his communication skills, and the season-end banquets to rival the ESPY's! But I know firsthand that Bobby's greatest responsibility was to his family, to his wife Joanie and to his four girls and later to his grandchildren.. At times it was a responsibility that challenged him, but it was one he ALWAYS cherished. Bobby's memory was incredible, he loved words, he loved sports, he loved music and he was SO knowledgeable about all of them and much more! So now it is up to all of us who loved him and already miss him, to keep his memory alive. At this moment God has a "Commish" with him in Heaven to keep the scores of all of the saints and sinners on earth and we know Bobby will be right on top of it! On behalf of my family, I wish to send along to all of the extended Puinno family my love and prayers and, most especially, my genuine gratitude for knowing such a kind and wonderful man and calling him a friend.
