We will miss our good friend and neighbor Bob. What a wonderful friendship we had over the last 15 years. To think the friendship began with a dog treat. Bob asked if he could give our dog Toby a treat. Our response was only if he wanted a friend for life! Bob was always there to lend a hand (car repairs, selling books, etc etc), enjoy walks around the neighborhood, or just lend an ear. We were in awe of his extreme couponing skill! (never met a coupon he didn't like). We benefited from those deals as well as food from his garden! He had a knack for pulling into our yard when we were washing cars, saying he was next in line. So we had the pleasure of washing his truck too! Most of all, we enjoyed his company.

Bob was my client for 15 years when he worked for Glidden / ICI and I worked for Golder. We had a great working relationship which developed into a friendship. We would have daily conversations about project work but inevitably the conversation would turn to various other subjects such as food, sports, current events, and family life. We worked on many interesting projects over the years and shared many good meals too. I lost contact with Bob about 12 years ago but I will always fondly remember the good times we had together. I surely hope there are dry rub ribs and crispy chicken wings waiting for Bob in the afterlife. Rest in Peace.

My sympathy to Bob's family. It was always so encouraging to see Bob continuing to come to work. This makes me so sad and please know that my thoughts and prayers are being sent to you all.
