Robert Kozak's Obituary
Robert Kozak, age 73, of Strongsville, OH passed away on May 26, 2015. He leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years, Shelley(nee Safier); sister Janice Troudt (Darrel)of Reno, NV; son Christopher Kozak of San Diego, CA; and daughter Rebecca Kozak of Lubbock, TX. He retired from General Motors in Lordstown, OH after 31 years. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a 100+ pint blood donor for the American Red Cross. Bob dearly loved animals, and was rarely without one in his arms. Bob enjoyed woodworking, and he loved to travel. He was proud of the fact that he had visited all 50 states in the US, and 23 countries internationally. Bob did not lose his battle with cancer; he lived graciously and courageously with it until the very end. He will be forever remembered for his quiet and calming presence. He may be gone from our sight, but he will never be gone from our hearts. A private graveside service was held on May 28, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted, OH.
