Robert Lee Ryan's Obituary
Robert Lee Ryan, 75, of Strongsville, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 9, 2023. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 1, 1948 to the late Robert E. and Leona Ryan (nee Staskowski). Robert will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of almost 50 years, Lorelie Ryan (nee Lanigan); loving father of Angela Ryan and Ken (Amy) Ryan; cherished grandfather of Nathan, Emily; honorary grandfather of Zachary and Austin Limpert; dear brother of Kathy (Dave) Chapman; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
Robert aka “Sunoco Bob” worked for Sunoco for over 40 years, was a devoted Michigan fan and season ticket holder, cheered his grandchildren on and off the field, warmed many barstools at local taverns, pulled many behind his boat on Long Lake, golfed with friends, and never met a stranger.
Visitation and memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. Visitation hours are from 11am-2pm. Celebration of life memorial service at 2pm.
