Robert Shedlock's Obituary
Robert Shedlock, 74, of Strongsville, passed away January 24, 2017 at Regency Hospital in Middleburg Heights.
He was born in Barnsville, OH, the son of the late Carl Sr. and Betty (nee Windom) Shedlock. Robert is the beloved husband of Gemma (nee Tedesco); loving father of Maria Shedlock and Michael (Heather) Shedlock; cherished grandfather of Zachary and Lucas Shedlock; dear brother of Therese (Donald) Kasper, Carl Jr. (Marilyn) Shedlock, Cecelia (Paul, deceased) Lambert and Stephen (Debbie) Shedlock; adored uncle of many. Robert is a United States Air Force veteran. He retired from LTV Steel following 38 years of employment in the IT department. He had a love for animals and nature, was an avid reader, and enjoyed listening to classic rock and jazz on the stereo. A doting grandfather, he relished the time he spent with them creating many memories. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and dear friend.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 12-2PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, where funeral services will commence on Sunday at 2PM with military honors following.
