I have over 50 years of memories with Dad, each one more special than the next. But most recently one of my favorite things that Dad would do was to write poems in our birthday and Christmas cards. Each one was different and unique and tailored for whom he was composing his verses for! We looked forward to his cards and would read them out loud and laugh, and he'd be smiling like the Cheshire cat the whole time. So Dad, I hope I do you proud....
Dad, I hope you knew how much you were loved,
now keeping vigil over us from above.
I'll always remember your warm, witty style,
not to mention your "Gotta Love Me" smile.
I'll miss your corny jokes we heard a million times,
But most of all I'll miss all the cards and your wonderful rhymes!
I love you with all my heart Dad, Francine
