Robert S. Silac's Obituary
Robert ‘Bob’ Silac, age 67, of Grafton, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 27, 2020 after a short battle with cancer. He was born on September 1, 1952 in Lorain, OH at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Son of Helen and the late Peter Silac. Also preceded in death by his cherished uncles John and Steven Silac.
Bob enjoyed reading History books and watching the History Channel. His Saturdays and Sundays were spent with family and friends at nephew Todd’s “Man Cave” enjoying dinners and watching NASCAR races. He retired from ABF Trucking in 2010.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Cheryl, and his two loving children Matthew of Lakewood and daughter Kimberley of Grafton; brother Alan of North Ridgeville; mother Helen; brother and sister in laws; nieces and nephews; and Victoria who he adored as a granddaughter. Bob will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
Visitation for Bob will take place on Thursday, July 30, 2020 from 4PM – 8PM at the Sunset Chapel located 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted 44070. Funeral services will take place Friday, July 31, 2020 at 10AM also at the Sunset Chapel. Burial will follow immediately at Sunset Memorial Park located 6265 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted 44070.
