Robert Lorenz Teutsch's Obituary
Robert L. Teutsch, age 86, of Parma, Ohio, passed away on November 20, 2024. Born on July 29, 1938, to the late John and Johanna Teutsch, Bob was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
Bob is survived by his devoted wife, Ruth (nee Belica). He was the loving father of Cindy (Ed) Kyovsky, Karen (Rick) Bar, and Becky (the late John) Coyner. Cherished grandfather of Eddie, Cory, Cassie (Joe), Jesse (Nicole), Mallory (Jack), Michael, Ian, Meredith, Grant, and Blaine. Proud great-grandfather of Joey, Norah, and another great-grandchild on the way. He was the dear brother of the late William and the late Lorenz, and brother-in-law of John and the late Millie (the late Joe). Bob was a lifelong best friend to Colonel Ronald Schwachenwald (Lois) and a loving uncle to Michael (Leslie), Joey (Lynn), Lori, Jeanne, and Billy. He was also a friend to many.
Bob began his career as a postman with the USPS, where he worked for 10 years before joining the Cleveland Police Department in 1967. He served the community with dedication until his retirement in 2001.
Bob had a passion for restoring antique cars and was known for his ability to repair anything. He enjoyed boating, skiing, and spending time with family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
