Robert E. Tome's Obituary
Robert “Bob” E. Tome, 78, passed away on January 5th, 2023. He was born to the late Lloyd E. and Ruth H. Tome (Nee’ Blazek). Bob, as he was affectionately called, worked for American Airlines for thirty- six years where he retired as a supervisor. He also worked for American Eagle for three and a half years. Serving in the Air Force during the Vietnam era, Bob repaired cameras, and developed a love for photography.
He was also a self-taught Ham Radio Operator in Elyria. Bob leaves behind to cherish his memory; his significant other for over thirty years, Marlene Rogers, his brothers; Richard (Eileen) Tome, Raymond (Deceased) (Beverly)Tome, and Glenn (Joyce) Tome and a host of family and friends. Family and friends will meet at Sunset Chapel to proceed to the gravesite at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070 for a graveside service on Thursday January 12, 2023 at 9:30am. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Midview Baptist Church, 36710 W. Royalton Road (State Route 82) Grafton, OH 44044 at 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Midview Baptist Church, 36710 W. Royalton Road (State Route 82) Grafton, OH 44044.
