Roger Holt's Obituary
Roger Holt, age 89, of Seville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 29, 2019.
He was born April 7, 1930, in Cleveland, son of the late Wilford and Florence (nee Henkel) Holt. Roger loved working on and showing off his 1965 Buick. He enjoyed watching movies, especially westerns because he was a big John Wayne fan. He liked listening to Patsy Cline. Roger loved to eat fried chicken and frequently loved visiting Amish Country. In his youth, he was a real cowboy. He loved his family and will be greatly missed.
Devoted father of Steven (Mary Ann) Holt, Scott (Lauri) Holt, Sandi (Jim) Newgent, and the late Shari Gore; cherished grandfather of Anthony, Julianne (Shane), Steven, Scott Jr. (Melissa), Jennifer (Anthony), Felicia (Devin), Stefanie, Aiden, and Rhyus; beloved great grandfather of Julianne, Maple, Cameron, Jacob, Caleb, Zachary, Graham, Blake, Peyton, Brayson, Lane, and Gavin; loving brother of Marlene (Ed) Bunt; caring uncle of David (Luanne) Carucci; dearest great uncle of Angela; casual acquaintance of Laura.
Visitation will take place on Monday, November 4, 2019 from 6PM – 9PM in the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070 where funeral service will commence on Tuesday, November 5, at 12NOON. Interment immediately following in Sunset Memorial Park.
