Ronald Melvin Hadlock's Obituary
Ronald Melvin Hadlock was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 9, 1951 and died on November 16, 2016. Ron was the second child of Betty (Hook) and Jim Hadlock’s four sons. Ron grew up in Cleveland and Indiana in his early years. After the untimely death of his father, Ron’s mother married Wayne Heidt and the family settled in North Olmsted. From this happy union, Ron’s beloved sister, Libbe arrived.
Ron graduated from North Olmsted High School in 1969. He found lasting employment in the grocery industry, working for Fisher Foods. Ron was an animal lover and had a remarkable rapport with dogs, cats and even common farm animals. Ron’s passion as music. He devoted his life to this endeavor, providing sound engineering for many bands in the Cleveland area, including one of his favorites, Robert Lockwood Jr.
Ron is survived by his step-father, Wayne (Esther) Heidt of Sandusky, Ohio, his brother Jim (Lark) Hadlock of Bloomer Wisconsin, his sister, Elizabeth “Libbe” (Mark) Farmer, of Medina, Ohio, his niece Chanda (Raul) Palacios of Minneapolis, Minnesota, his nephew Ryan Hadlock of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and his great nieces and great nephew.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, James Hadlock and Betty Heidt; by his brother Bob Hadlock and Davey Hadlock, and by his beloved grandmother Jesse Hook-Fischer (nee Moore).
Ron was a gentle soul and a compassionate man. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
