Ronald Frederick Kiessling, 87, of Brookpark, Ohio passed away on September 15, 2021. He was born on January 13, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Ernst Oscar and Caroline Martha Kiessling. Proud veteran of the US Marine Corps, longtime member of All Saints Church, and Knight of the Pythias Lodge. He retired from NASA after 30 years of service. Dear husband of his first wife Lois Kiessling (deceased), second wife Jeanette Kiessling (deceased); and beloved companion of Joan Blaha; loving father of Tom (Angie) Krueger, Bob Krueger, Elizabeth (Robert) Boltz, Christopher Kiessling, and David (Rebecca) Kiessling; cherished grandfather of Courtney (Jim) Fraley, Lindsay (Larry) Heninger, Chase (Tara) Boltz, Kory (Kelly) Krueger, Devon (Ryan) Young, Ashley Kiessling, Taylor Kiessling, and Kyra Kiessling; treasured great-grandfather of Wynn Heninger, Brady and Boston Boltz; brother of Ernie Kiessling (deceased), Annabelle Spencer and Charles Kiessling, Sr; father-in-law of Sue Krueger, Dawn Cameron, and Christine Kiessling; and an uncle of many. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 3-7 PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 12 Noon at Sunset Chapel with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brookpark, Ohio.
