Ronald L Leach's Obituary
Ronald Lee Leach, 88, of Middleburg Heights, Ohio passed away on August 29, 2022. He was born on August 22, 1934 to the late Ralph and Lelia (nee Woodruff) Leach. Ronald was a proud veteran of the US Air Force and retired as Vice President of Accounting from Eaton Corporation after 26 years. He was a strong man of faith and active in his local church. Ronald served on the Southwest General Hospital Board for over 22 years and received the Mighty Oak award for his selfless service. In retirement, he enjoyed cruising around the world with his wife and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his dry sense of humor, being a devoted Cleveland sports fan, and his pen collection.
Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Dreger) of 66 years; loving father of Cynthia Leach, Mark (Lynnetta) Leach, Douglas (Robin) Leach; cherished grandfather of Benjamin (Sarah), Amelia (Joshua) Byrne, Grant Leach, Anastasia (Charles) Estes, Marisa (Gregory) Savel, Isaac (Hannah) Leach, Bethany Leach, Eli Leach, and Victoria Leach; treasured great-grandfather of John, James, Braden, and Grace; and dear brother of Richard and Dale (both deceased).
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 5-8 PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 with a service on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 11 AM at the chapel.
