Ronald "Captain Ron” Tessman,75, of Columbia Station and more often of Dock 5 at Cedar Point, OH passed away peacefully on October 2, 2021. He was born on July 8, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Joseph and Marjorie E. (nee VanEpp) Tessman. Captain Ron was the proud owner of Nautical Alchemy with his furry 1st mate, Maverick. His best days and happiest moments were spent on the water; a day on the water is never wasted. Loving father of Ronnie, Scott, Melissa, and Christopher Tessman (deceased); dear brother of Karen (Jerry) Smith, Michael (deceased), and Joseph (deceased); treasured uncle of Matt, John, and Eric Tessman, Danny Zamiska (deceased), and Jennifer Zamiska; brother-in-law of Nancy Tessman and uncle-in-law of Roni Zamiska. He has sailed off in to the sunset and has found peace. Please be with the family in prayer and reflection as they privately mourn Ron’s passing. He will be reunited with the water at his request. Contributions may be made to Southwest Hospice, 18659 Drake Rd, Strongsville, OH 44136. Online condolences and memories may be left on Ron’s memorial page at sunsetfuneralandcemetery.com
