Rosalee Walters' Obituary
Rosalee Walters, 82, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025. Born on September 27, 1942, to the late Richard and Violet Jesse, loving raised by Curtis and Violet Martin, Rosalee lived a life full of love and joy.
She is survived by her loving children, Michael (Susan) Walters, Tim Walters, and Beth (Charlie) Bowman; and her cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Marissa, Taylor, and Collin. Rosalee was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband of 55 years, Jack, and her five siblings.
Rosalee found immense joy in gardening, spending time at the lake, and enjoying her lakeside cottage in Port Clinton. She was always involved in various activities earning her the nickname "Busy Bee". She was an active member of the Strongsville Historical Society, where she delighted in playing Ms. Claus during the holidays. Her favorite pastimes included bible study with her granddaughter, dancing, and whistling her favorite tunes. She was also known for her spirited dancing and being a certified jitterbug.
Rosalee was most proud of her roles as a devoted mother and Nana, with her favorite title being that of a loving wife to her husband, Jack.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 1, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, with a service to follow at 2:00 PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, 44070.
Rosalee's warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
