Rosemary Ann Giesser's Obituary
Rosemary Giesser, age 73, of North Olmsted, passed away peacefully Friday, August 17, 2018 after a long fight with cancer.
Born September 17, 1944 in Cleveland, OH to the late John and Rosemary Walter. Rosemary enjoyed reading and was a huge Cleveland sports fan. She was very athletic and was known to be tough. Rosemary was a former debate champion in college. She was honest, intellectual, thoughtful, selfless and witty. Throughout her life, Rosemary was known to defy the odds and overcome and fight no matter what hardships came her way. She truly was the definition of a fighter! Most importantly, she loved her grandkids and spending time with her family. She will be truly missed.
Devoted wife of the late William Giesser; cherished mother of Nancy (Jack) Hennessey, and Rosemary (Aaron) Walker; beloved grandmother of Jackson, Finn, Iris and one on the way; loving sister of the late John (Jan Pogue) Walter; cherished sister in law of Nancy Giesser; caring aunt of Alex, Lily and Christian; dear stepdaughter of Betty Walter.
Visitation will take place Monday, August 20, 2018 from 4PM – 8PM in the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070 where funeral service will commence on Tuesday at 10AM. Interment immediately following in Sunset Memorial Park.
