Rosemary Rose Warnkey's Obituary
Rosemary R. Warnkey (nee Rose), 98, of Westlake, passed away October 7, 2017.
She was born in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Anton J. and Pauline (nee Holchin) Rose. Rosemary was the beloved wife of 63 years to the late Harold J.; loving mother of H. John (Pam), the late William, Mark (Mary) and Maryrose Bosworth (Neal Hutchison); devoted grandmother of Tiffany (Dan), Justin (Kim), Ryan (Nicki), Amy, Diana (Nic) and Nicholas III and great-grandmother of Mason, Camille, Preston, Kiera, Johnny, Nataly and Harold; dear sister of Rita (Shep, deceased) Pritchard and the late Betty Jane (Roger) Sweeney and A. Jay (Florence) Rose; cherished aunt of many. She is also survived by her faithful companion, Sir Duke.
Rosemary was a graduate of St. Augustine’s High School and Catherine Gibbs Secretarial School. She enjoyed music and interior decorating and will be remembered for her generosity and sense of humor. Above all she valued the time with her family and cherished the many memories created. A loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 5-8PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11AM at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 20141 Detroit Rd., Rocky River 44116 (Please Meet At Church). Committal services to follow at the Westwood Abbey Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park.
