Ruth was a graduate of John Hay High School class of 1944. There she found her love for sewing, which continued for 70 years. She took those talents and used them to make the most beautiful quilts for all her grandchildren and for her kids. No sewing task was to large and she mastered all of them perfectly. She also was such a presents at Messiah Lutheran Church where she was a member for 66 years, doing every job in the church at least once and for many years. She enjoyed time spent with her husband of 62 years. He was a guiding light to her all the way to the end, even from heaven, where they are now together. Her kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were such a joy to her. She never missed a sporting event or band or choir concert for anyone. Whenever she saw them she had the biggest smile on her face and her happiness was felt by anyone nearby. She will be missed by everyone that she touched in her life. Love you mom
