Ruth M. Miller's Obituary
Ruth M. Miller, 79, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 22, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Frank and Laverne Ivancic. Ruth was the beloved wife of Clarence A. Miller, who preceded her in death in 2003. They were married for 40 years and raised three sons, whom she adored. Ruth was a devoted homemaker and loved being a teacher's aide at West Park Lutheran School. She enjoyed cooking large meals, especially her famous stuffed cabbage, which was a family favorite. She also loved playing cards, having family clambakes and celebrating the holidays with her friends and relatives. She had a competitive spirit and a lively personality that made her the life of the party. Ruth was an avid bingo player and a member of the local water aerobics club. She was always cheerful and optimistic and had a kind heart and a generous soul.
Ruth is survived by her three sons, Mark (Tia) Miller, Chris (Patti) Miller, and Greg (Ruth) Miller; her grandchildren, Matt (Megan),Tiffani, Alexandra (Jeff), Brittany (Erik), Chris Jr., Jordan (Sarah), and Tatum; her great-grandchildren, Rory, Emmery, Gabriel and Sebastian; and her brother Bill (Jan) Ivancic along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 12:00 - 2:00PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. Funeral service will begin at 2:00PM, following visitation.
