Ruth Florence Mycoskie's Obituary
Ruth F. Mycoskie, age 82, of Brook Park, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on September 13, 1943, in Lisbon, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Opal McCulley.
Ruth was the beloved wife of 50 years to Thomas Mycoskie, with whom she built a life filled with devotion, laughter, and unwavering partnership. She was the cherished mother of Jennifer Rennick (Josh) and the proud grandmother of Aza Hensel (Jordan), Aiden Rennick, and Sophia Rennick. She was a loving sister to Phyllis Joy of Salem. She was also a treasured aunt to many nieces and nephews who adored her.
As well as her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her siblings Charles McCulley, Betty Almy, Joyce Carman, and Kenneth McCulley.
Ruth lived her life with a gentle spirit and a generous heart. She found her greatest joy in time spent with family—whether traveling, shopping, or hunting for treasures at garage sales. She was a selfless soul who wanted for nothing and gave everything. Her warmth, kindness, and quiet strength touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. To be loved by Ruth was to be truly blessed.

In keeping with Ruth’s wishes, a private service will be held for her. She will be interred at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted, Ohio.
