Sallie Jones-Gundich, 85, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on May 11, 2025. She was born on March 9, 1940, in Molton, Alabama, to the late Willie and Methyl Oliver. She was the beloved wife of 18 years to the late Thomas Gundich.
Sallie was a devoted mother to Sharon (Charles) French, and David (Teresa) Jones, and a cherished grandmother to Gregory, Jared, Paul, Seth, Nikki, David, Deidre, Morgan, and Camille. She was also a beloved sister to Harold Oliver and Ruby Oliver. She was preceded in death by her sons Thomas Jones and Gregory Jones, her grandson Jacob, and her siblings Alton Oliver, Ernest Oliver, Willard, Robert, Carrie, Vera, Vada, Katie, and Brenda.
Sallie was a true fashionista, always impeccably dressed and effortlessly stylish. She had an eye for design and a passion for decorating, constantly looking to perfect her surroundings and create beauty wherever she went. Her elegance, grace, and impeccable taste were reflected in every detail of her life, from the way she dressed to the way she made every space feel special.
A service honoring Sallie’s life will be held on June 27, 2025, at 11:00 am at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
