Sally Stone's Obituary
Sally Jane Stone, 88, of Olmsted Falls, Ohio passed away on March 12, 2022. She was born on August 2, 1933 in Alliance, Ohio to the late Harry and Margaret (nee McClellan) Seeley. Sally was a proud member of Eastern Star Chapter 408 of Brooklyn, Ohio. She worked selflessly and tirelessly for the lodge providing many meals and support over the years. Her hardworking hands will be deeply missed at their spaghetti dinners. Her creative spirit found joy in hairdressing and dancing with her husband Curtis in their younger years. She enjoyed her life to its fullest potential and will be fondly remembered by her family for the example of what a beautiful marriage should be. They believed you should live, love, and laugh to be happy! She will be missed!
Sally is survived by her loving daughter Shelley (Paul) Stone-Schmidt; cherished grandchildren Noah (Kelly) Dormady, Amanda DeLaney, Micah Dormady, Shawn (Ashley) DeLaney, and Steve (Ashley) DeLaney; and treasured great-grandchildren Selina, Matthew, Cayden, Caleb, Violet, Elaina, Shawn Jr, and Dylan. She has been reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Curtis Stone, daughter Elaina Marie DeLaney, and 6 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 12-2 PM with a service at 2:00 PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Online condolences and memories may be left on Sally’s memorial page at sunsetfuneralandcemetery.com
