Sam Bungo's Obituary
Sam Bungo, 96, was born on November 27, 1927, in Smithmill, Pennsylvania to the late Metro and Catherine (Lazeration) Bungo.
Sam was a proud member of the US Army and served during WWII where he served in Japan. Sam enjoyed working on and driving antique cars. He enjoyed attending Car Shows where he formed many long lasting relationships. Sam was especially fond of his pet dogs and cat.
Sam passed away on November 29, 2023. Sam will be deeply missed by his son, Timothy Bungo, and his grandson, Phillip (Marla) Bungo, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Olga Switala, Anne Giza, Christine Deao, Estelle Bungo, Irene Schultz, and Susan Russian, and his brothers, Boyd, Walter, Peter, John, Charles, Stanley, and Michael Bungo.
Visitation is Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 12-1:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070, where the funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM. Interment following at Sunset Memorial Park.
