Sandra Jean Newton, age 79, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2025. Born on July 29, 1945, to the late Melvin J. and Florence Maurer, Sandra lived a life full of love and dedication.
She was the beloved mother of the late Melvin Wade Newton and the cherished sister of the late Florence May (Edmund) Kwiecien. Sandra was a devoted aunt to Victoria (Ronald) Senauskas and Michael (Cyndie) Shaw, a great-aunt to Troy Anthony Senauskas and Todd Michael Senauskas, a great-great-aunt to six, and a great-great-great-aunt to two.
Sandra had a deep love for dogs and a passion for astrology, which brought her joy throughout her life. She worked diligently as a technician at Fairview Hospital, where she eventually retired.
A private ceremony will be held to honor Sandra's memory. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
