I am completely heartbroken at the loss of one my favorite teachers of my entire school career. Sandy treated us with dignity and love and stretched our abilities far beyond what we ever thought we could accomplish. The Elyria High School Drama Department was a place for students who had no place largely because of Sandy. She played a huge role in making us into the adults we are today and we'll be forever grateful.
So sorry to hear about Sandy our friend and next door next door neighbor on Meadow Drive. Our kids grew up together and have many good memories.

Mom...I miss you soooo much!!!! I am glad you are no longer in pain, but my life will not be the same without you here with me. I had the best childhood/adulthood anyone could ask for!! You and dad were the best parents and grandparents. I know you will continue guiding me in spirit as I continue the journey without you on this earth. I love you so much!!!!!
Mrs. Strong touched so many lives, including my own. She took a small, shy, insecure girl and helped her reach her full potential. She believed in me, when I didn’t believe in myself. Sandy Strong was a great inspiration to me and as a result I am a music teacher today. She started me on a path that completely changed my life. Thank you Mrs. Strong.
