You’ve been a close friend of mine since 1965. We’ve shared a lot of life together, at work, socially, and with our families and friends. We all loved the energy and spark you would add when we would get together. And, all of us will miss that special friendship you provided as we go forward without you.

I am so sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathies to all of you missing your special husband and father. Uncle Dick was a big, vibrant soul who connected with everyone he met, with his zest for life and family. He knew what mattered. He loved deeply. And he fought so valiantly these years. I know my Papa (his brother Don)’s heart is hurting, but I think of the reunion so many from that Bertino clan are having in Heaven and it brings some comfort.
