Sara Mae Davis' Obituary
Sara Mae Davis, 35, passed away on April 3, 2026, leaving behind a world that feels immeasurably heavier without her light.
She was born on November 20, 1990, to Jan and Jim Hemer, who deeply loved and cherished her, profoundly valued her, and forever held her close in their hearts.
Sara is survived by her husband, Darnell Davis, Jr., with whom she shared a meaningful chapter of her life. She leaves behind her children, Devynn Sharp, Caleb Sharp, and Dallas Sharp, who were the center of her universe and the source of her greatest joy. She also leaves her stepson, Tyler Davis, who held a meaningful place in her life. Her siblings, Ashley and Jessica (Cory), will forever carry her memory forward, as will the many nieces and nephews who adored their Auntie Sara. She also leaves the father of her children and friend, Darrell Sharp, Jr., with whom she shared a strong and committed co parenting partnership built on mutual respect and devotion to their kids.
To know Sara was to know someone who loved fiercely, laughed fully, and gave endlessly. Her children were her heartbeat, her purpose, and her pride. There is no measure for the void left in their lives and in the lives of all who knew her. To say she will be missed is an understatement, her absence is felt in every corner she once brightened.
Sara’s story does not end here. It continues in the lives she shaped, the love she poured into her family, and the memories that will be held tightly by all who were fortunate enough to share even a small piece of her journey. May her memory be a blessing, today and always.
