Sarah Marie Klingler's Obituary
Sarah Marie Klingler (nee Salvaggio), 90, of Fairview Park, passed away January 29, 2016.
Beloved wife of the late Ronald, who passed away in 1986; dear mother of Sandra (Benjamin, Jr.) Taylor, Sharon Klingler (Rudy Staurbringer, deceased), and Kevin (Kathryn) Klingler; cherished grandmother of Vica Taylor, Jenyaa (Ashley) Taylor, and Devin Staurbringer and great-grandmother of Ethan Taylor; loving sister of Tony (Edna) Salvaggio and adored aunt of many.
Sarah was a professional pianist who played at various places around Cleveland including Swingo’s, Top of the Town, The Rockcliff, Daddonas, the 100th Bomb Group, and the Vintage House. A sports enthusiast, she was an avid tennis player, and she downhill skied until the age of 85. She was a founding member of The Cleveland Mother of Twins Club, active member of Women in Construction, Fairview Park Rotary and Chamber of Commerce, Cleveland Yacht Club, and of the Erie Shore Ski Club.
Sarah Marie was a dynamic, happy, compassionate, and extremely generous woman who pushed beyond barriers and deeply enriched the lives of all whom she touched. She will be profoundly missed.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5-8PM, and Monday from 10-12PM and 4-7PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 10AM.
