Sharon A. Black's Obituary
Sharon A. Black, age 75, of Milan, passed away February 16, 2024. Beloved wife of 54 years to Paul; loving mom of Jim (Sharon) and Brenda (Jason) Watchorn; cherished grandmother of Michael "Joe" Verhest, Paul Verhest, Michael (Katie) Watchorn, Jacob Watchorn, and Isaac Watchorn; great-grandmother of Gabriel and Caleb; dear sister of the late Peggy (Larry) Douglas; loyal friend of many.
Sharon retired from Olmsted Falls City Schools. She enjoyed spending time as a Girl Scout Leader, loved traveling with her friends and family, and wine tasting. She was a part of the “Dirty Dozen,” who have been friends for over 40 years. She loved all things Disney - specifically Mickey Mouse.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to Boy Scouts of America Troop 664, 5678 Canterbury Rd. North Olmsted, OH 44070 or Hospice of the Western Reserve, Ames Family Hospice House (hospicewr.org).
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 26, 2024, from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted; where the Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 10:00AM.
