Sharon Anne Costello's Obituary
Sharon Anne Costello, 69, of North Olmsted, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024. Born on January 3, 1955, in Dexter, Maine, she was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Marion Costello.
Sharon is survived by her loving children, Joseph (Cassandra) Kopnicky and Nancy Kopnicky (Thomas Ives). She was a cherished grandmother to Claudia, Robert, Beatrice, Joseph (Joey), Florence, Bennett, Angel, Joshua, and Jacob. She also leaves behind her dear
friend and mother-in-law, Shirley Kopnicky, and her friend and father of her children, Alan Kopnicky. Sharon will be deeply missed by her brother, Steven.
As well as her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Thomas Costello III and Janie (nee Costello) Pitcher. Sharon’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She had a deep love for her dogs, a fondness for coffee (which she affectionately
called “caw-fee”), and enjoyed her cigarettes. Sharon found joy in painting ceramics and playing Scrabble, and she was always willing to lend a helping hand. Her kindness and generosity touched many lives.
Sharon’s warmth, creativity, and compassion will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held on Friday November 1, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070, with a memorial service to follow directly after in the chapel at 4pm.
