Shawn Murphy, 66, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025. Born on April 25, 1959, to the late Joseph and Mickey Murphy, Shawn was an outgoing and charismatic soul who touched the lives of many.
Shawn is survived by his loving fiancé, Patty Jones; his siblings, Mary Jo (Frank) Mazzella, and Michael (Kathy) Murphy. He was predeceased by his siblings, Edward, Joseph, and Patricia Murphy.
Shawn had a deep love for all things fun, including motorcycling with Patty and skydiving with his nephew. He was also an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and enjoyed spending time with his dogs. He had many friends and cherished the connection he made with those at the gym he attended.
A visitation to honor Shawn will be held on July 31, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm, with a service to follow immediately at 12:00 pm at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, 44070.
