Sheila Cooper (Schroeter)'s Obituary
Sheila S. Cooper (Schroeter), 74, of Olmsted Township, passed away peacefully on May 23rd, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones.
Sheila was born on August 21st, 1948, to the late Howard Schroeter and Phyllis Schroeter (Lee) in Bedford Ohio.
She was the beloved mother of Sam (Heather) Cooper, Sandy (Matthew) Mariotti, Valerie (Richard) Matzelle, Christopher (Samantha) Cooper and Amy Roberts and beloved stepmother to Judy Cooper and John Cooper (deceased). Cherished grandmother of Zoe Nemerovsky, Alexandra (Kyle) Dembie, Danielle, Julia and Nathan Matzelle, Brynnja, Jaideth & Zavian Cooper. Dearest great grandmother of Victor Dembie. She was also a loving step-grandmother and step-great-grandmother to many.
Beloved sister of Robert Schroeter (deceased), Phyllis Stevens (deceased).
Dearest, lifelong friend of Sandra Hambleton.
Sheila was a very compassionate and outgoing woman who made friends wherever she went and helped anyone she could. She truly enjoyed tapping into her creative side and enjoyed painting and crafting. She was a talented artist. She was devoted to her family and friends with the biggest heart. She was a hard worker with high energy who also loved her country and loved everything red, white and blue.
There will be a celebration of life to remember Sheila and her beautiful spirit on Thursday, June 8th from 4:00PM-7:00PM at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. A private graveside service will be held on Friday, June 9th.
