Sheila Marie Whiteley's Obituary
Sheila Marie Whiteley, age 62, of Sheffield Village, Ohio, passed away on November 30, 2025.
Sheila was born in Brook Park, Ohio on October 30, 1963, to the late Horace and Joan May. She was the beloved wife of 37 years to David Whiteley, and the devoted mother to Danielle Whiteley. Sheila was joyfully awaiting the arrival of her first grandchild, Jensen. She is also survived by her niece Kaylie (Nick) Sand and nephew Attlia Gyorki, great-aunt to Brooklynn., her sisters-in-law Beth Whiteley and Leila (Dave) Snodgrass, her brother-in-law Brian Whiteley. She was preceded in death by her siblings Carl and Kenneth May, her brother-in-law Trevor Whiteley Jr., and her in-laws Karen and Trevor Whiteley Sr and her aunt Irene Fitzgerald.
Sheila lived a life full of love, warmth, and generosity. She enjoyed the serenity of beaches and had a special affection for sea turtles. Known for her cooking, especially her famous stuffed cabbage, Sheila made sure no one ever left her home hungry. She was admired not only for her kindness and hospitality but also for being a truly beautiful person inside and out.
Sheila’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever cherish her love, laughter, and the joy she brought into their lives.
