Sherril "Mac" McDonald's Obituary
Sherril “Mac” McDonald, 91, of Seven Hills, passed away September 28, 2018.
Beloved husband of Carol (Neville); loving father of Lisa (Terry) Shusta, Kevin (Allison) McDonald, Karen (Ron) Wolf, and Maureen (Greg) Mulheran; dear grandfather of Hayley McDonald, Logan McDonald, Jodie Shusta, R.J. Wolf, Olivia Wolf, Addison Wolf, and Dylan Wolf; cherished brother of Eugene (Marie) McDonald; survived by Cherylinn and Robert McDonald; and many loving nieces and nephews. Mac was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Sarah (Metts) McDonald; and siblings Clifton, Willis, Osborn, Edison, Estelle, and Revis.
Mac was an active member of Seven Hills United Methodist Church. He was fun loving, kind, and caring. To know Mac, was to love him. He enjoyed gardening, traveling, and he cherished playing with his grandchildren. Mac retired three times. He was a very successful insurance agent, having won so many leading agent awards they named the Sherril McDonald Award in his honor.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 10 AM- 12 PM at the Westwood Abbey Mausoleum Chapel, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070, where his funeral service will follow at 12 PM.The McDonald Family would like to thank Southwest Hospital and Cypress Hospice for the excellent care they provided to Mac at the end of his life. Special thanks to the staff at The Heights Healthcare who provided loving and compassionate care not only to Mac, but also to his family.
