Shirlene Braun's Obituary
Shirlene Braun of Parma,83, passed away August. 30, 2023; born in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Chester and Ida Payton. She was married to the late Daniel C. Braun. She left us peacefully surrounded by her loving family, sons; Mark and Jeff; her grandchildren Matthew (Harriet), Jesse (Jacki), and Noah. Great-grandchildren, Penelope, Ophelia, Celestine, and Marki Rose.
The family also offers many thanks to family members: Richelle Emery (sister-in-law) and Kim (Bob) Esterle for their unlimited support in prayer and visits.
Early in life, she worked as a secretary at local places like Turner Construction, Wang Labs, and Parma Hospital. Once grandchildren came into her life, she started an in-home Christian Day Care. Over the years she volunteered her time to the local school as PTA president and was a dedicated Stephen Ministries Bible Study Leader at Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Shirlene had the biggest of hearts, always sending heartfelt greeting cards, writing touching personal letters, and keeping meaningful journals. Her favorite vacation spot was Bar Harbor, Maine.
Visitation is Wednesday, September 6, 2023, from 4-8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. Service is Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 12:00 PM at the chapel.
