Shirley Coates' Obituary
Shirley Coates (nee Thiemke) entered into rest at her home in Brunswick, Ohio on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the age of 87. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 2, 1935. Shirley is survived by her loving husband, Ronald of 66 years. They were married in LaGrange, Indiana on March 10, 1956, and raised their family in Parma, Ohio. Shirley is lovingly remembered by her children-Linda O’Toole (Tim), Ron, (Barb), Gary (Maria) Bill and Sharon Hayes (Rob). Shirley was blessed with 8 grandchildren-Timmy, Jennifer, Jeff, Christina, Amy, Angela, Matt and Ryan, along with 11 great-grandchildren. Shirley had a tremendous love of all animals. She enjoyed crafting, traveling, playing cards, and spending time with her family. Shirley will be laid to rest on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted, Ohio. A private family service will be held. In lieu, of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA at www.aspca.org/donate or any Animal Welfare organization of your choice.
