Shirley E. Covan's Obituary
Shirley E. Covan, 86, of Sagamore Hills, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 5, 2020. Born in Perryopolis, PA to the late Charles and Iva (nee Lynch) Williams in December of 1933.
Besides her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her husband William Covan Jr. Shirley is survived by her daughter Dani Covan and other loving family and friends. Shirley loved and cared for many pets in her life and enjoyed each one. Shirley was very popular in the Reserve Assisted Living and would often have visits from her aides and nurses who spent time with her. She liked the color green and collected butterflies and frog figurines. Shirley enjoyed going to the casinos and would always come home with more than she left with. She was a very sweet and friendly person and was loved by many. Shirley was a strong woman and fought against all odds until the very end. In the days to come, she will be dearly missed.
Shirley will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park next to her husband privately. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Human Society of Summit County 7996 Darrow Rd, Twinsburg, OH 44087
