Silvia Petrascu's Obituary
Silvia Petrascu, 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 8, 2023. Silvia was born in Vistea De Sus, Romania on May 16, 1929, daughter of the late Nistor and Haritina Stefan (nee Popa). Silvia married Ioan Petrascu on July 2, 1956. They had three children: Olimpia (George, deceased), Octavia (Doru) Todoran, and Vasile (Laura) Petrascu. Grandchildren: Simona Sarsama (Ian), William Sarsama, Alin (Delia) Petrascu, and Liviu Petrascu. Great-Grandchildren: Tudor, Zian, Wayne, and Cassidy.
Silvia was very faithful and read her Bible daily. Her relationship with God was very important to her. She loved spending time with her family. Silvia enjoyed baking bread and coffee cake to give to her family, friends, doctors, and other residents in her building. She will be missed dearly. May her memory be eternal.
Visitation: Tuesday, August 15, 2023, from 6pm-7pm; Pastoral Prayer Service from 7pm-8pm, and Funeral Service: Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Chapel 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070.
