Skyler M. Smith's Obituary
Skyler M Smith, age 29, of North Olmsted. Passed away peacefully Friday evening at home surrounded by family and friends after a long battle with cancer. Born in Elyria June 20, 1989, he lived in North Olmsted most of his life. He is survived by his parents Bonnie and Larry E. Smith. Brother of Shawn C. and Shannon L., all of North Olmsted. Grandson of William C. Powell of Elyria and Ruth A. Smith of North Olmsted. Uncle to Angelica, Daniel, Casey, Cody and Alexis. Skyler attended North Olmsted High School with interests in Science and Physics. He enjoyed reading, writing and drawing. He was an avid collector of “The Grateful Dead” memorabilia and enjoyed going to concerts. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harvey, and his grandmother, Betty A. Powell; uncle, Bob Powell, and cousin, Lindsey Goode Easter. Funeral Service Thursday, January 17, at 10:30 A.M. in the Chambers Funeral Home, North Olmsted, where friends may call Wednesday 5-8 P.M. Interment at SUNSET MEMORIAL PARK, North Olmsted on Thursday, January 17th at 11:15 AM.
