Stanley William Peters, Jr., age 83, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024. Born on June 14, 1941, to the late Genevieve and Stanley Peters, Sr., Stanley lived a life full of love, dedication, and service to his family and community.
Stanley is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Alice Peters (nee O’Reilly), with whom he shared many wonderful years. He was a devoted father to his children: Charles (Christine) Peters, Cheryl (Sheila) Patterson, Christopher (Patricia) Peters, and Bill (Amanda) Peters. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Carolyn (Kris) Karr, Michelle (Robin Stevenson, fiancé) Peters, Saxton Peters, and Synclair Peters, and his great-grandchildren: Kameron Karr, Scarlett Karr, and Kooper Karr. Stanley also leaves behind his dear siblings, Philip (Patricia) Peters and Paulette (Richard) Byrnes, who will miss him deeply.
Stanley's life was marked by his unwavering commitment to his family and his community. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the love he shared with all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
Visitation is Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 4-8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. Mass is Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 10:30 AM at St. Mary of the Falls, 25615 Bagley Road, Olmsted Falls, Ohio 44138.
