Susan May's Obituary
Susan May, 80, of Cleveland, passed away peacefully in her home after a four-year illness. Susan spent her last moments surrounded by her loving family.
Susan is the daughter of John and Gizella (nee Zemito) Pleban and was born on January 2, 1941.
Susan is survived by her husband of 54 years Raymond; children Jerry (former wife Pam) Pleban, Ann (Michael) Pleban, Carolyn (the late James) May, and Raymond May Jr.; grandchildren Jennifer, Jim, and Michael; great-grandchildren Dominyk, Mya, and Bella; sisters Joni and Sandy; brothers Johnny, Anthony, and the late Albert.
Susan enjoyed spending time with her family and leaves behind many fond memories. She loved to laugh and never complained. Her family loves and misses her dearly.
Susan’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to nurse Beth and STNA Vivian and supporting staff of Heartland Hospice Home Health of Independence and aide Tabatha of Xcel Home Healthcare of Cleveland Heights for providing kind and compassionate care for Susan and her family.
A visitation will be held at the Sunset Chapel located at 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted 44070 on Sunday, October 10, 2021, from 3pm until 7pm. A service will be held at the Sunset Chapel on Monday, October 11, 2021, at 2pm. Burial will take place in Sunset Memorial Park.
