Suzanne "Sue" Bubel's Obituary
Suzanne "Sue" peacefully passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 73.
Sue is survived by her sister Pamela Bailey, brother-in-law Marvin Bailey, dearest friend, Ralph Panzeca, step mother, Kay Sabalis, and six nieces and nephews. Therese Hout (husband, Tom), Donald Bittala (wife, Margaret), Debbie Gibbons (late husband, Bob), Mary Crawford (husband, Bruce), John DiMichele, Anthony DiMichele (fiance, Debbie Papa).
Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Joseph "Joe," her parents Leonard and Evelyn Sabalis, brother-in-law Lester "Bud," sister-in-law Rosemary (husband, Don), sister-in-law Lois, and nephew Michael Joseph.
Sue had a successful 49 year career at Greyhound Lines Inc. mostly at the Senior Director level in Accounting and Project Administration. This led her to serve on the Board of Directors for the NBTA- National Bus Traffic Association and then to become the FIRST woman elected Chair Person for the NBTA Board of Directors. Sue was well respected in the many levels of the bus industry.
Sue was an avid sports fan! She was so passionate when watching her Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, and Dallas Mavericks.
She was a wonderful sister, daughter, aunt and friend and will be truly missed.
Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070, followed by her interment in the Garden of Religion Boulders North.
