Terrence C. Wolff's Obituary
Terrence C. Wolff (Terry), Son of Harold and Betty, Husband of Karen, Father of Todd and Kerry, Papa of Skyla, Brayden, Andrey, and Jaylen, Friend of everyone. Terry retired after over 40 years of service to LTV Steel/Mittal Steel as a Mill Wright and proud member of the United Auto Workers (UAW). Terry resided in North Ridgeville for over 23 years, where he was a decorated baseball coach for over 13 years. Terry took great pride in teaching the game of baseball, being a positive influence for youth, demonstrating sportsmanship, and always ensuring that the players had fun as a team. Terry has struggled over a decade with a medical condition, MDS. MDS is a blood disorder that effects the red blood cells. In June of 2019, Terry’s MDS advanced to Leukemia. Terry received wonderful care and compassion, outstanding medical expertise, and long lasting friendships through his interactions with the Cleveland Clinic personnel. Throughout all the experimental trials and medical diagnosis Terry always held his family as his highest pride and priority. Terry’s love and appreciation of his beloved wife, Karen of over 46 years was loyal, dedicated, and endless. Terry’s children Todd and Kerry have always been his source of pride, the light of his world, and foundation of his example, teachings, and guidance. Terry made a point to always be a part of every grandchild’s musical concert, school program, award ceremony, grandparent’s day, sporting event, and everyday lives. On October 30, 2019 the heavens gained an angel, the world lost a hero, the definition of a real man, a loving and faithful husband, a wonderful father, and a doting Papa.
As a tree grows older their limbs and branches spread out in all directions. Just like a tree, every year of Terry’s life meant more and more people’s lives had been touched by his kindness, bright smile, joy of life, infectious laugh, and inspiration. Terry, you will be deeply missed, we look forward to seeing you again one day, until then please continue to watch over us and protect us as you always have. With immeasurable love and tribute from, Karen, Todd, Kerry, Skyla, Brayden, Andrey, Jaylen, and countless friends.
The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 7:00 PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd. North Olmsted; where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until the time of service.
