Kathy Karpen
Dear Donna, Jayne, Aunt Leah, Dad, Aunt Carol, and Aunt Elaine and families….My deepest sympathys to you all at this very difficult time of loss. One of the fondest memories of my Aunt Thelma was a conversation she and I had when I was a teenager at Mum and Duddah's house in Old Brooklyn. I remember her asking me what I wanted to do when I grew up. I remember her asking me what interests I had. I'd never had anyone ask me that kind if thing as I was just a teen. She was sincere about it and it made me feel so good that she was interested in me. So much so that I have never forgotten it. It was great seeing her at Moms birthday party last summer. I will miss her big smile. Praying for all of you that God surrounds you with the kind of comfort only HE can give. Sincerely, Kathy and Jim Karpen
